Experimental Cutting

These pieces focus on individual cutting ideas for both mens and womens wear. Some ideas are commercial but they mainly revolve around constructional ideas and challenges - either through one piece garment construction or in finding an alternative way to cut traditional details or features.

Recurving Top

This piece continued the one-piece cutting ideas developed from the 'Realised' collection where curving lines and tailored construction created clean, structured sculptural forms.

This concept became more about sculpture than wearable clothing - and this later lead to developing fabric works away from the body, free standing or exhibited on a wall.
