Sewn Works

The idea of using only the component parts of a 'painting': namely the canvas fabric, the frame and the wall, to design a visual composition within the three-dimensional space of 'a painting'.

Wool felt is sewn into sections that span the width of the artwork whilst sections of empty space allow the wall and external environment to become part of the composition.
