This project came about following the invitation from Givenchy's Creative Director, Riccardo Tisci, who wanted to collaborate in exploring the expressive qualities of my tulle work within the context of fashion.
Together we worked to reinterpret Givenchy's religious prints to further question notions of strength, fragility and masculinity. The pieces play on the traditional use of tulle in women's wear, here defining the image through the masculine silhouettes of the sweatshirt and t-shirt.
