Realised: Emergence

Sleeves, waist and trouser hemlines continue - appearing to curve through the arms, waist and ankles as if the body is emerging from the fabric itself.

Garments shimmer as fabric catches the light and the body becoming increasingly visible through slashed details.

The last piece in the collection references the 'finale wedding dress' - though in this case the piece is more symbolic of a divorce as the model emerges from a veil in the slashed white remnants of the gown. As the model leaves the catwalk all that remains is a ghostly veil suspended in the air like a shed skin.
